About

Will Scott Hello and thanks for visiting my website. My name is Will Scott and I'm a professional luthier (guitar repairer/maker). I'm also a family man, married
with two teenage sons. I'm passionate about guitars and about getting the
best performance and playability I can from them. I've had a guitar in my hand since I was 14 - and I still like to get out and play gigs.

My Career
After leaving school I studied Musical Instrument Technology at Leeds College
of Music. After graduating in 1985 I took a job with John Hornby Skews & Co
in Leeds carrying out guitar repairs and quality control checks in their service department. And it wasn't long before I was maintaining and building them in
my spare time too.

In 1990 I began teaching guitar making part-time at Leeds College of Music
as well as starting my own business offering repair services freelance to
musicians, music stores and students, eventually becoming an authorized technician for Jackson® Guitars. I am now a full-time luthier based in the beautiful county of Pembrokeshire, West Wales although my customer base extends to Carmarthen, Cardigan and Swansea.

What I Can Do
All types of repair and restoration work as well as regular maintenance jobs like fret dress and set-ups. I also offer a customising service: I can build you a new neck to fit an existing body, or vice versa, fit new pick-ups and hardware with custom wiring options. I pride myself on precision workmanship and attention to detail.

Whatever your guitar needs, I can help. Please call 07790 069109.
